My multi-purpose moisturizer ; Aloe Vera Gel

Assalamualaikum and hi guys!

So today I want to share about my moisturizer that I've been using it since 2015, my foundation years. I must say that this is the most useful moisturizer I have ever used, I love it and can never have it finish without restocking, because that is just how much I love and need it!

TADAA!!! Its Jeju Aloe 99% by TheFaceShop , a Korean brand.

There you go! The picture on the lid looks very refreshing isn't? It is! And its scent really helps the refreshing effect as it is almost rain-like scent, but its very good and not too strong.

I started to use this aloe vera gel when I was out with my friends and they kinda recommended to me to buy and use this (it was buy 3 at cheaper price so they persuaded me to fill the quota). One of them showed that she use this as moisturizer, ALONG with her foundation cream, like mix them together.

So I was like, okay. I'll try it.

But the funny thing is that, when I first bought it, I didn't use it as my moisturizer. Instead, I put it on my hair every time after shower. My hair at that time was very very dry, it took efforts to comb it, and a total opposite of ideal hair. Honestly I didn't know why I used the gel as a part of my hair treatment, but I wanted to try it since its moisturizing right? Who knows it might work wonders to my stiff hair.

Then OMG MasyaAllah it really did help with my hair! After first apply, it didn't instantly smoothen my hair but it reduce the dryness of it. After a few weeks, my hair became totally smooth, moist, and absolutely gorgeous! I said my hair before was hard to comb right? Now I can even use my fingers every morning to straighten it! Wonderful isn't?

Even my friends were surprised at my hair, because they knew how bad it was. And to top it all, I've tried so many ways to treat my hair, from extra virgin olive oil, expensive shampoo. Oh and I can never use hair conditioning because it itches my scalps and largely contribute to my hair fall. Huh.

After my hair has become so much normal like others, I stopped applying aloe vera gel on it, and started to really use it as my face moisturizer. Like for my hair, I'd use it each time after I shower or cleanse my face. One of my friend would sometimes use it after a day spent under scorching hot sun to reduce sun burn, and aloe vera is really famous for sun burn treatment.

And I must say, it works well on my skin too! For your information, I have a skin disease called eczema, it's very common nowadays. During my school days it was bad, but now it is okay, bearable as I would only feel itchy and sensitive to certain products and food. Therefore this aloe vera gel is compatible to my sensitive skin!

However, my other friend, showed me she had allergic to aloe vera gel, and it happened to be that she used another brand of this gel. I'm not really sure about that brand's quality, but it smells like fresh chopped grass (as aloe vera is a type of green plant so maybe that is the smell of chlorophyll). So remember guys, my suggested brand is TheFaceShop , okay?

As I like reading and scrolled through my Pinterest and Beauty and Makeup, I often came across that to lengthen the eyelashes is I must use aloe vera to my upper and lower lashes. So its easy then, as I apply it as my moisturizer, I'd use the excess of it to comb my lashes using my finger. Ever. Single. Day. And ..

Voila! I don't know if it's only my illusion but I think my lashes are getting longer a bit! But of course, it only shown after months of application so, PATIENCE IS THE KEY!

There you go the 3 functions of aloe vera gel according to myself, hahaha.

Maybe some of you guys are worried about the ingredients, if it contains harmful chemicals like paraben or something suspicious. But don't worry guys! Because I myself is very concern about such things too and trust me this brand of aloe vera gel DOESN'T have those kind of chemicals or ingredients.

Zoom in peeps! You can check it here!

Plus! Plus! Plus! It has lots of herbs and useful flowers substances like grapefruit, lavender, sage, spearmint and lots others in this one container! So aside from moisturizing, it would give the applicants abunda
nts of nutrients that are good for skin! It's wonderful!

How it looks at the bottom of the container. At the top is the description and such in Korean, then its translated to English, so it's readable guys!

How the gel looks like. Very smooth very clear. And it smells good too!

But there is one thing about aloe vera gel is it is a bit sticky, so some people wouldn't like it on the face and may cause them to feel uncomfortable. You can always ask for tester at shops to know if you will like it or not.

It's a big as my hand (I'm an adult lol). Would last months, for me a semester.

Where to buy? This will always be available at TheFaceShop outlet anywhere, sometimes they have offers or discounts like the more you buy the less you pay. But then I would usually purchase it online in hermo.com an online makeup mall, because they usually have this 3pax for lesser price (well if they still have stocks).

So that's it. My moisturizer. I've been using it for two years now, I don't know if I'll be changing it in the future, unless if I found a much better moisturizer.

Till then.
